R&R’s Management System and Quality Control Processes are compliant with ISO 9000 standards. Our service quality is guaranteed by our leadership team and through our ISO Quality System Certification including Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001), Requirements for Translation Services (ISO 1700) and Canadian Translation Standard (CGSB 131.10). R&R Translation maintains a standard methodology for completing projects that support our formal quality assurance process. This methodology includes R&R’s Six Stage Quality Assurance Process that is applied to all projects and overseen by the project manager.

Our expansive group of resources includes over 250 individuals with capabilities in a diversity of languages and lexicons.

Founder, President

Patrice is the co-founder and president of R&R. He is a dynamic marketing professional with experience in domestic and international markets including South America, the Middle East and parts of Europe and Asia. Patrice has a holistic view of corporate goals and the competancy to surmount challenges. His progressive work ethic, combined with a solid background in engineering fundamentals, has allowed him to make a unique and powerful contribution to the company’s advancement. Patrice graduated from the University of Lowell. Prior to joining R&R, he worked in the defence industry for more than 20 years.



Rachel co-founded R&R in 1999. She grew the business by consistently delivering quality translations and ensuring client satisfaction. Her passion for fostering client relationships built the company’s foundation. Her efforts also propelled the company from a small business to a larger corporation with government contracts in place.

Marlie is highly invested in the company’s success and has grown the company since she began as vice president of business development. Her responsibilities range from business development to quality assurance and linguistic training. Marlie is engaged with clients and active in project oversight. She regularly meets with clients to initiate projects and continues to communicate with them for the duration of the project to ensure satisfaction throughout. Marlie has served over 20 different government departments and has successfully managed projects for the Department of National Defence, Transport Canada, Translation Bureau, Health Canada, Natural Resources Canada and others.

Gabriela is the vice president of operations. In this capacity, she oversees project management, client relations and day-to-day operations. Gabriela is highly focused on providing each client with excellent customer service and ensuring their interactions with R&R are both positive and memorable. She also ensures teams are fully supported operationally and that compliance is respected on every project delivered. Gabriela graduated from the University of Montreal with degrees in communications and political science. During her tenure at R&R, she has managed accounts with the Department of National Defence, Transport Canada, Translation Bureau, Health Canada, Natural Resources Canada and others.
